How Would
You Define Project Management?
In this free first lesson, you will be able to view the Welcome message from the course's instructor as well as the Course Overview. Within this section you have access to the introductory message, course outline, requirements and grading procedures and assignment submission guidelines. You will be able to view Unit One only, with limited access to resource links, lectures and instruction. In this unit, you will learn about the "Holy Grail" for project managers: budget (the sum cost for attaining the project objective); schedule; and performance, or specification. These three variables are under the control of the project manager and aid in the phases of the process used to execute projects. Keep in mind that you won't be able to discuss your thoughts about project management topics on the Message Board here. The links at the top, including the instructor's e-mail address and the course Chat Room and Message Board, have been disabled as part of your limited access. (You can go to our Sample Classroom and visit that Message Board to get a feel for how to use it.) Now, make it your business to get ahead in business, and try out the first of ten units. One introductory lesson -- just enough to fit into today's schedule. |
