This course has eleven units of study. In each unit, you will be asked to respond to questions on the Message Board and to submit assignments via e-mail.

E-mail assignments should be thoughtfully composed and carefully edited. The method for submitting the assignment varies; look for the instructions that accompany each assignment. In many cases, you may either attach the assignment to an e-mail or copy the assignment into the body of the e-mail. Some assignments are longer, and I ask that you send these as attachments only. To send an assignment as an attachment to an e-mail, you may either attach the file as a Word document or in Rich Text Format (RTF). Label your e-mail with your full name, the course number, and the assignment, as specified at the top of each e-mail assignment.

You can access the Message Board by clicking the "Message Board" button at the top of the browser window. Message Board posts should be kept on-topic and concise. It is important that you post your Message Board assignment as a "reply" to my post for the appropriate unit. Each Message Board assignment has a letter. Please be sure to include the correct Unit Number and Assignment Letter (e. g., Unit 1/Assignment B) in each posting.
